OLD WHITE CHURCH PRODUCTIONS
 Old White Church
Productions is a not-for-profit venue for traditional Irish
musicians. Concerts are held approximately six times per year
although the availability of the musicians dictates when.
Previous artists include: Denis Liddy from Co. Clare, Paddy
Keenan, The Kane Sisters, Reaganta, The Canniffe Family from
Cork, Ireland, Matt and Shannon Heaton with Sam Amidon and
Paddy League, and three members of Lunasa, Kevin Crawford,
Cillian Vallely, and Paul Meehan.
The ca.1839 church was moved to its present site in 1869. The
original tin walls and ceiling provide excellent natural
acoustics so that the musicians have seldom had to use
amplification. The church is heated
only by two antique wood stoves and although the original oil
lit chandelier is still hanging from the ceiling, we do use
the electricity. The capacity of the church is approximately
150 (125 comfortably).
